IRON SABRE CATEGORIES

Iron SABREs are awarded for leadership in public relations management and are generally open to both public relations firms and corporate public relations departments.

80. Client Service-this category generally includes agency initiatives to improve or enhance client service. While such initiatives typically impact multiple clients, individual examples of exceptional client service on a single account are considered.
81. Employee Communications-this category generally includes agency initiatives-including but not restricted to newsletters, intranets, etc.-designed to improve communication with employees.
82. Evaluation-this category can include both products for the evaluation and measurement of PR programs, or individual case studies involving sophisticated evaluation techniques.
83. PR Agency Marketing Program-this category generally includes programs designed to market-through advertising, PR, community involvement or other means-a public relations firm
84. Product of the Year-this category recognizes products developed by agencies or service firms that deliver superior new capabilities to public relations professionals
85. Professional Development-this category recognizes excellence in professional development programming for PR practitioners in agencies and/or corporate PR departments
86. Public Service-this category recognizes activities undertaken by PR agencies or corporate PR departments on a pro bono basis, including volunteerism and pro bono account work for nonprofit clients
87. Research-this category recognizes original research conducted by or on behalf of PR agencies or PR departments that adds to the body of knowledge about the profession
88. Speech or Bylined Article-this category recognizes articles/speeches written or delivered by PR professionals that further understanding on the profession. Speeches written on behalf of clients should be entered in category 77.
89. Technology-this category recognizes the use of new technologies in a PR setting to significantly enhance the delivery of PR services
90. Workplace Initiative-this category recognizes any initiative designed to improve the culture of a PR de5partment or agency, attract and retain top talent, etc.
