Account Executive/SAE - Hill+Knowlton Strategies

H+K’s Technology practice has ambitious plans to become the strongest and most successful sector amongst our competitors within the next three years.

Our 30-people strong team works with a range of global, high profile brands and has a superb opportunity for an Account Executive, or new Senior Account Executive who is ambitious, creative, proactive and extremely savvy across media and social channels.

This role is unique as it requires a candidate who not only has an interest in consumer tech but is also savvy when it comes to lifestyle, whether that be fashion, design, photography, arts or culture. The successful candidate will work on two of the agency’s flagship global brands.

Applicants will bring consumer technology experience and exceptional media relations credentials along with a solid social management background; from content creation and calendar planning to monitoring and day to day community support.

The successful candidate will be a master storyteller with a strong consumer technology background or interest, a passion for media and excellent contacts/influencer network. They will have a genuine interest in technology, be switched on to the latest trends and innovations, and thrive within a collaborative, close-knit team who love what they do.

  • Experience in identifying and engaging media influencers, with a track record of securing great coverage for clients in both consumer tech,  lifestyle media and nationals
  • Previous experience of working with consumer technology brands, media and other influencers
  • Previous experience creating social content and community management
  • Device seeding / product loan programme experience highly desirable
  • Ability to drive great results and work as an integral part of a dynamic team, as well as independently
  • Solid experience of developing proactive pitches for tech clients and helping to come up with compelling, issues-based story ideas that generate on-message coverage for clients
  • Knowledge of and experience with social media channels and campaigns
  • Impeccable attention to detail and appreciation of tight deadlines
  • Strong writing skills (e.g. by-lined articles, pitch notes, press releases)
  • Confidence in dealing with senior client contacts
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to tightly manage suppliers and other third parties
  • A passion for technology and its future within society
