2016 SABRE Awards Asia-Pacific Winners

HONG KONG—Indigenous agencies Adfactors (India) and Dentsu (Japan) and multinationals Edelman and Ogilvy all enjoyed impressive success at the Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards, which took place at the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong on 28 September.

Dentsu Inc.'s “Second Life Toys” was selected as best in show over five other finalists for the award:

  • SpiceJet: Rising like a Phoenix­—SpiceJet with Adfactors PR Pvt. Ltd.
  • From a Documentary to a Movement of Change and Hope, an Indian campaign Vibha Bakshi, Viacom 18 and Weber Shandwick
  • The Fingerband Campaign, from the Korean Ministry of Health & Welfare and FleishmanHillard.
  • More Than Just Another CEO Visit—Microsoft Asia with IN.FOM

Ogilvy also picked up nine Gold SABRE Awards for its clients, more than competitors such as Edelman (six); India’s Adfactors PR and Dentsu Inc. (five each) multinationals MSLGroup, Weber Shandwick, and Burson-Marsteller (three each); and Golin, Hill+Knowlton Strategies, IN.FOM and Text100.
