NEW YORK—Ketchum has appointed Lori Beecher, a TV producer with a career spanning the “Today” show, “60 Minutes,” and most recently the syndicated talk show, “Katie,” as executive vice president of media and content strategy, based in the firm’s New York headquarters. She will report into Debra Forman, partner and director of Ketchum Digital, and Tamara Norman, partner and associate director of Ketchum New York.

Beecher will counsel some of the firm’s largest clients in North America on content-centric media strategy and executive visibility. She also will provide senior-level guidance for the development and management of highly visual content for brand and corporate storytelling.

Prior to that role, Beecher held producer roles at CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” CBS’s “Evening News,” NBC News’ “Dateline NBC,” NBC’s “Today,” NBC’s “NOW with Tom Brokaw and Katie Couric,” ABC’s “Good Morning America” and ABC’s “Nightline.”
