WASHINGTON, D.C.—.ORG, The Public Interest Registry, the manager of the Internet’s third largest domain, has selected Allison & Partners as its public relations agency of record. Together, PIR and the agency will work to raise brand awareness of the .ORG domain, educating the technology, non-profit and business communities about the benefits of the .ORG domain and addressing common misperceptions.
In addition to spearheading the overall media relations and though leadership program, the Washington, D.C. office of Allison & Partners is working closely with PIR to oversee all media relations and marketing activities surrounding two major initiatives currently under development: DNS security and corporate outreach. Both projects will further position the .ORG domain as a leader in Internet safety as well as a valuable resource for companies looking to enhance their crisis communications, educational initiatives and marketing campaigns.
