NEW YORK—360 Electrical, creator of a new “plug and turn” outlet that allows for different configurations, has selected GCI Group as its public relations partner. GCI will lead a nationwide media relations campaign in an effort to build brand awareness for the company and its new line of products. The account will be led out of New York with support from a cross-office team of house-and-home media specialists.

The agency has been charged with launching the company and its products long-and short-lead media and among key trade publications at the International Builders Show in 2008. GCI also will develop a digital influencer program designed to gain traction among bloggers and online consumer brand enthusiasts.
