NEW YORK—Abelson Group, a communications and marketing firm specializing in telecommunications and technology, has been selected as global PR agency of record for Air2Web, a solution provider for wireless applications and data services. Abelson Group is responsible for Air2Web’s global media and analyst relations, thought leadership programs, messaging and positioning, event marketing, media tours, speakers bureau, awards, influencer roundtables, blogger relations and grassroots event PR. “We chose Abelson Group because of its deep mobile industry expertise, creativity and proven execution in this market,” said Alfredo Narez, vice president of marketing at Air2Web. “As we move into the global mainstream with new branded products and positioning, we will look to Abelson Group to establish aggressive visibility in the U.S. and EMEA with a broader industry audience, while also managing communications programs with our customers.”
