New business wins for Echo Media, Fetching Communications, Blaze and Nancy J Friedman.

TUSTIN, CA—Echo Media Group, a public relations and social media agency in Orange County, Calif., has added three new clients: The Joy Factory, a digital device specialty accessories company; The OpenCourseWare Consortium, an organization with a membership of worldwide universities and associations committed to furthering the availability of free educational materials and courses online; and Be There Bedtime Stories, an innovative webcam storytelling platform .

TAMPA—Veterinary Practice Partners and Furbitz have retained Fetching Communications as their agency of record. VPP, a newly formed management company is seeking to partner with local veterinarians, while Furbitz is a new product from Poochie-Pets.

LOS ANGELES—Blaze has been named agency of record for Daily Grill restaurants nationally, with a brief to increase awareness of the brand’s traditional American dishes.

NEW YORK—Nancy J. Friedman Public Relations has added hotelier Ian Schrager’s first Chicago project to the agency’s travel and tourism roster. The firm will represent the Ambassador East Hotel and Pump Room restaurant, both undergoing extensive refurbishment with a view to reopening this fall.
