DENVER—Weber Shandwick has been appointed by the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine to provide integrated communications support to help position and launch the school’s new Health & Wellness Center at the Anschutz Medical Campus. Led out of Weber Shandwick’s Denver and Washington DC offices, the firm’s campaign will generate awareness of the new Center. The project will span general market and multicultural public relations, brand development and advertising, digital and social media support.

ATLANTA—Morehouse School of Medicine selected GolinHarris as its agency of record. The agency will provide strategic counsel and support in the areas of science and research branding, message development, faculty and expert thought leadership, direct marketing, media relations and new special communication projects and initiatives. In addition, the agency will be responsible supporting office of the president communications and redeveloping the institution’s Website content to improve the school’s brand identity and positioning.

NEW YORK—Chamberlain Healthcare Public Relations has launched a national media and public service campaign for Kids Kicking Cancer, an organization focused on easing the pain of sick children while empowering them to heal, to promote KKC’s new Breath Brake iPhone and Blackberry application. The initiative aims to also raise awareness of the organization and increase donations. Chamberlain is supporting KKC on a pro-bono basis.

SAN ANTONIO—Bromley Communications has been selected as the Hispanic marketing communications partner for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Bromley will be responsible for creating and launching an integrated Hispanic platform that will resonate with Latinas across the United States. Elements will include public service campaigns, community outreach and media relations.

NEW YORK—Crenshaw Communications has been selected by art e-commerce site 20x200 as PR agency of record. Crenshaw will work with 20x200 to build its category leadership and support the company's growth by engaging a diverse audience from within the art, technology, and business communities.

NYACK, NY—Carolyn Izzo Integrated Communications has been selected to represent KonaRed, a 100 percent natural, made in Hawaii, antioxidant-rich beverage. CIIC will raise awareness of the KonaRed brand and lifestyle on the mainland through a PR campaign that will focus on strategic media relations, as well as national event sponsorships and trade shows. In addition, CIIC has been named public relations agency of record for Pueblo Bonito Oceanfront Resorts & Spas, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

ATLANTA—Arketi Group, a high-tech business-to-business public relations and digital marketing firm, announced it has been chosen by ObjectFrontier Software, an outsourced product development firm, to help elevate the company's corporate brand. Arketi's work began with the development of corporate messaging platform, which serves as the foundation for OFS' marketing and awareness efforts. Arketi will also visibly rebrand the organization with the creation of a new website and sales material.

CHICAGO—Zapwater Communications has added Protein Bar to its client roster. Protein Bar is a quick service restaurant that offers customizable high-protein blended drinks, bowls, fresh-made chili, wraps and salads. Zapwater has been hired to coordinate new store opening efforts and ongoing media relations to raise awareness of the brand.
