NEW YORK—HopStop, one of the most successful transit apps in the iTunes Appstore and Google Play with over three million downloads, has appointed integrated agency Diffusion to launch HopStop Live! and help position HopStop as defining the future of real-time crowdsourced transit information. The PR campaign will reach out to the consumer technology, business technology and national media and blogs.

LOS ANGELES—MWW has been retained as public relations agency of record by Vega, a leading formulator and marketer of plant-based natural health and sport performance products. MWW’s health and fitness practice will launch a campaign in North America to raise awareness and educate consumers on the benefits of a plant-based diet and Vega’s leadership of the category. The Vega account will be based in Los Angeles, led by MWW executive vice president and Western region general manager JP Schuerman.

NEW YORK—The Rockefeller Foundation has selected public affairs firm Global Strategy Group to manage PR for a $1.2 million grant that will support local efforts to build bus rapid transit systems in Boston, Chicago, Nashville and Pittsburgh. GSG will work with local partners O'Neill & Associates in Boston, The Strategy Group in Nashville, Bravo Group in Pittsburgh, and Grisko in Chicago. The teams will work with local officials and agencies, local business leaders, community groups, nonprofit organizations and transportation advocates to raise awareness of and generate support for BRT.

DENVER—Linhart Public Relations has been selected by two new clients: state branding effort Making Colorado and career forum and website Jane Knows. Linhart PR is responsible for all Making Colorado media relations and social media engagement and will support Jane Knows with communications planning, media relations and book promotion.

BOSTON—Greenough has been engaged Myriant Corporation, a bio-based chemicals company based in Boston. Myriant selected the agency after a competitive review. Greenough is working with Myriant on an integrated media program that includes traditional and social media/marketing that draws on Greenough’s storytelling approach.

MINNEAPOLIS—Morinda, a worldwide leader in bioactive supplements, has selected Carmichael Lynch Spong as agency of record. The company will be served by Carmichael Lynch Spong's food and beverage industry group.

NEW YORK—5W Public Relations has signed TikTakTo to its roster of corporate clients. 5W will execute the PR campaign focused on thought leadership positioning, media relations tactics, procuring strategic partnerships, launching client case studies, c-suite profiles and more.

VERONA, NJ—Block & DeCorso has been selected the agency of record for De Cecco USA, the Italian based pasta company.  Block & DeCorso will be responsible for both creative advertising and public relations for the De Cecco brand in the United States.
