UNO Restaurants select Utopia Communications, plus new business for Greenough, Linhart Public Relations, Carabiner Communications, Abelson Group, Integrity Public Relations, Arketi Group, Jack Horner, Trylon SMR

RED BANK, NJ—UNO Restaurant Holdings Corp., parent company for Uno Chicago Grill, UNO Food Group, UNO Due Go, and UNO Express, has named Utopia Communications, as its public relations agency of record. UNO chose Utopia, which focuses on socially-responsible businesses, to increase awareness of its dedication to operating a nutritionally transparent company. 


BOSTONWorldWinner, a leading provider of online casual game competitions, has chosen Greenough Communications to execute a brand awareness campaign and viral marketing effort. Home to some of the industry’s most popular casual game competitions, WorldWinner selected Greenough to tell its brand story through both traditional and innovative marketing channels. “Greenough truly understands the digital media landscape, which is critical to our success as a web-based company,” says Christian Meyer, chief marketing officer at WorldWinner.


DENVER—Linhart Public Relations, a Denver-based public relations and corporate communications counseling firm, has been selected by Rudi’s Organic Bakery, a leading wholesale baker of high-quality, organic breads, as its national public relations firm. Linhart PR and Rudi’s Organic will work together to educate consumers about the importance of including certified organic baked goods, made without the use of preservatives, pesticides, trans fats, high-fructose corn syrup and other artificial ingredient in their diets.


ATLANTACarabiner Communications, a public relations firm that serves start-up and fast-growth technology companies, has added eight new clients to its roster. New enterprise technology and consulting clients are Applied Software, the largest Autodesk reseller in the Southeast; and Blancco, global leaders in data erasure and end-of-life cycle solutions. New IT and physical security clients are Digitus Biometrics, designers of biometric fingerprint hardware; InterSOC, developers of real-time enterprise security management solutions; James DeLuccia IV, author and recognized expert on IT risk management and security technology; Logic Trends, an advisor for identity and access management solutions; and Vumii, developers of long range camera surveillance systems. The firm has also added SmartTrust, a mobile device management and SIM software company.


NEW YORKAbelson Group has been selected as public relations agency of record by Camiant and Mobilians International. The two new client engagements will be serviced by Abelson Group’s MobilePR practice group. The firm will design and execute wide-ranging corporate, product, and solutions-oriented communications programs in North America.


IRVINE, CAIntegrity Public Relations has been selected by Capita Technologies, a technology provider of e-marketing, e-government, and advanced business solutions, as its national public relations agency of record. IPR will be charged with the development of public relations strategies to support a broad range of Capita application software, services, and security solutions, specifically with regard to its government and advertising/marketing vertical markets. 


ATLANTA—Arketi Group, a high-tech business-to-business marketing and public relations firm, has been selected as agency of record by Atlanta-based Vector Consulting, an information technology professional services firm specializing in staffing and recruiting. Arketi Group's initial work for Vector centers on corporate positioning.


PHILADELPHIA—Parata Systems, which provides automation technologies that improve safety and convenience in retail and institutional pharmacies, has chosen the Philadelphia office of Jack Horner Communications as its agency of record. JHC will roll out a national public relations campaign for the pharmacy automation company promoting the role of technology in improving prescription safety.


NEW YORK—Trylon SMR has been selected by Downtown Arts Development on a project basis to handle public relations for the official celebration of Israel’s 60th anniversary at Radio City.
