NEW YORK—Stanton Crenshaw Communications has been selected to handle a positioning and messaging project for the American Montessori Society, the largest professional association for Montessori-method education in the world. The assignment, which includes a brand perception audit, messaging development, and marketing and public relations planning, is designed to support the organization’s role as the leading voice for Montessori education.

LOS ANGELES—Blaze, the consumer public relations firm owned by California public affairs firm Davies, has added five new accounts to its client roster. The new accounts include Las Palomas Golf & Beach Resort in Peurto Peñasco, Mexico; MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa in Lake Tahoe; Westin San Diego; Original Roadhouse Grill; and Marina Heights master-planned community on the Monterey coast in northern Calif. 

LONDON—Johnson King has been appointed by Dexterra, a pioneer in the enterprise mobilization arena, to manage its U.K. media and pan-European analyst relations program. The ongoing campaign, based on a complete messaging audit conducted by the PR firm, will target U.K. media and analysts in the mobility and enterprise software sectors as well as business and national publications. Johnson King won the a three-way competitive pitch to replace incumbent agency Wildfire PR.  Johnson King director Joe Banks will lead the account.

NEW YORK—Rubenstein Public Relations has added four new clients to its business and financial group: DebtResolve, a leading provider of patented online collection technology, as agency of record; Gersten Savage, an independent corporate law firm in New York, for the firm’s 30th anniversary and ongoing PR; Laurus Capital Management, a boutique asset-based investment banking firm, for media relations; and Somerset Partners, a private equity firm focused on the preservation and growth of wealth through investment in real estate, as agency of record.

WALTHAM, MA—Schwartz Communications has won nine new clients for media relations, analyst relations, branding and speaking programs. Six of the clients—ActiveHealth, Digium, GetWellNetwork, Infocrossing, OKCupid and RatePoint—will be serviced from Schwartz Communications’ Waltham, Mass., headquarters. Collarity, Gamma Enterprise Technologies and Generic Medical Devices will be serviced out of Schwartz’s San Francisco office.

LOUISVILLE, CO—CTA Integrated Communications is handling the promotion of, and is a sponsor for, The Windmill Project in Vail, a large-scale eco-sculpture exhibit that converts wind into light. CTA is developing a website, brochure, and HD video feature program about the project, and is implementing a national media relations campaign in support of the special spring art event.

NASHVILLE, TN—The Country Music Association has hired Katcher Vaughn & Bailey Public Relations to help increase awareness of the organization and promote its core initiatives in Middle Tennessee through media and community relations.

MARRIOTTSVILLE, MD—Maroon PR has been named agency of record for Moorea Marketing, a full-service event and promotional marketing firm located in Towson, Md. Maroon PR will work with Moorea Marketing to assist with promotion and brand building of its local and regional events.
