New business success for GCI Health, Allison+Partners, JoTo PR.

NEW YORK—GCI Health has begun working with InVivo Therapeutics and Neuraltus Pharmaceuticals, which are developing novel, breakthrough approaches to address two devastating conditions currently lacking therapeutic options. GCI Health is supporting both corporate and product communications for InVivo, an innovator in spinal cord injury research and the development of innovative products that aim to heal spinal cord wounds. The firm is also working with Neuraltus to support communications activities surrounding the company’s lead product candidate, NP001, for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

BOSTON—Messaging app Viber has selected Allison+Partners for public relations. The appointment comes as the brand— with almost 600 million unique users worldwide—has appointed Scott Nelson, formerly with Converse, as head of Viber North America to lead the marketing efforts, and appointed agency partners including Droga5, as advertising agency; Laundry Service as social media agency; and Essence, a global digital agency.

TAMPA BAY, FL—JoTo PR has added health supplement company BodyHealth as a new client for its healthcare PR unit.
