New business successes for Th Castle Group, Morris + King, and Eric Mower & Associates.

BOSTON—The Castle Group, an independent Boston-based public relations and event management agency, has added accounts including bakery and café operator Au Bon Pain, Dublin-based web 2.0 travel portal and snack food maker Original Rangoon Company.

NEW YORK—The Morris + King Company has been retained by Glam Media, a leading women’s web property with 19.1 million unique U.S. visitors in June and more than 30 million visitors globally. MKC will execute a comprehensive public relations plan aimed at showcasing the way Glam Media empowers brand advertisers, indie publishers, media content owners and content syndicates to engage target audiences in unique new ways with the same contextual relevancy and trust they’ve always enjoyed with traditional glossy magazines and in broadcast.

SYRACUSE—Hand Held Products, a leader in image-based data collection technology, has awarded public relations work to the business-to-business unit at Eric Mower & Associates. EMA is also Hand Held’s agency of record and handles direct marketing, print and online advertising, media placements and new product launches. The additional public relations work will support Hand Held Products’ North America and corporate divisions. Projects include material development and pitching, media and channel relations, and management of press tours and trade shows.
