RALEIGH, NC—French/West/Vaughan has been selected by the North Carolina Beer & Wine Wholesalers Association to provide public relations support that will complement the existing outreach and lobbying activities of the Association, a nonprofit trade organization for 35 licensed beer and wine distribution companies throughout the state. “FWV possesses comprehensive knowledge of not only the dynamic of our state, but of the industry as a whole,” says Dean Plunkett, executive director for the North Carolina Beer & Wine Wholesalers Association. “The resources and insight the agency can provide will be invaluable as we move forward.”

NEW YORK—KCSA Worldwide has been selected as the public relations agency for Hilson Research, a prominent pre-employment testing and promotional/managerial assessment firm. Hilson helps employers identify antisocial behavior patterns, drive, communication skills and other characteristics associated with “emotional IQ” that indicate a job applicant’s reliability, integrity and overall job suitability. KCSA will implement a strategic public relations campaign designed to raise awareness and increase demand for Hilson’s services initially among three core audiences: franchise and chain-oriented businesses, retail and a broad range of healthcare categories covering both in-home and facility-based services.

BOSTON—PerkettPR has added five new clients, including Sermo, a fast-growing online community created by physicians for physicians, which marks PerkettPR’s entry into the healthcare market. ALEXANDRIA, VA—O’Keeffe & Company, a full-service marketing agency focused on information technology and telecommunications clients, has added CDW Corporation as agency of record for line of business public relations, an expansion of O’Keeffe’s existing work with CDW, which encompassed the government, education, and healthcare markets.
