Ruder Finn has won the King Pharmaceuticals public relations account, plus new business successes for Stanton Public Relations & Marketing, Robin Leedy & Associates, Maccabee Group, and Zapwater Communications.

LONDON—Ruder Finn has won the King Pharmaceuticals public relations account. Ruder Finn’s work for the Bristol, Tenn.-based drug company will be comprised of branding and corporate communications supporting King’s pain brands. RF was one of three agencies that pitched to King in the final round.


NEW YORK—Stanton Public Relations & Marketing has been named public relations agency of record by Seedco Financial Services, a national non-profit organization providing funding and technical support to small businesses in economically distressed and traditionally underserved communities. Stanton recently helped Seedco announce that it has received funding from the 100 Small Business Initiative launched by Goldman Sachs. The firm’s 2010 strategic communications program for Seedco will include national thought-leadership activities and media relations to broaden understanding and boost awareness of the organization.


MOUNT KISCO, NY—Consumer health and beauty specialist Robin Leedy & Associates has added two new clients: Coty’s Jovan fragrance brand and Pedia-Lax. The agency will conduct integrated social media and PR campaigns for a new Jovan fragrance launch and for C.B. Fleet Company’s Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies dietary fiber supplement for children.

MINNEAPOLIS—CaringBridge, an Eagan, Minn.-based charitable non-profit organization providing free websites that connect family and friends to share love and support during a serious health event, and LOGIS/Local Government Information Systems, a consortium of Minnesota local government units sharing information technology solutions, have chosen Minneapolis-based Maccabee Group as their new public relations agency.

CHICAGO—Zapwater Communications has added Mustard Girl All-American Mustards to its client roster.

Mustard Girl, a Midwest-based company offering all-natural gourmet mustards, has retained Zapwater to build brand awareness through ongoing media relations and promotions.
