New business successesfor Makovsky, Rogers & Cowan, Blaze, and FD Ashton Partners.

NEW YORK—Makovsky + Company has been retained by the Museum of American Finance, a Smithsonian affiliate, to manage the communications for its grand opening at 48 Wall Street. According to Kristin Aguilera, communications director for the Museum: "A successful PR launch is critical to achieving our goal of educating the public about our financial history. We know that Makovsky + Company’s deep knowledge of the financial sector and the team’s enthusiasm for promoting this historic event will ensure that the new face of Wall Street is seen worldwide."

LOS ANGELES—College Tonight, an interactive service and networking platform for the college market, has selected Rogers & Cowan to create and implement a campaign to publicize its RPO and the continuation of its national roll-out of the service, which uses proprietary technology to create a unique approach to social networking. Rogers & Cowan will provide strategic planning and media relations in the technology, business and consumer sectors. The account will be co-managed by executive vice president Julie Nathanson and vice president Jennifer Fader.

LOS ANGELES—Blaze has added three new accounts to its growing client roster., including the iconic Sheraton Universal hotel, Tutto Tutti frozen yogurt in Los Angeles, and Dallas-based Veroli Foods.

RALEIGH, NC—BioDelivery Sciences International, a specialty pharmaceutical company, has selected FD Ashton Partners as its strategic communications firm.
