Greenough Communications has been named agency of record for EcoCAR: The NeXt Challenge, plus new business successes for Carmichael Lynch Spong, Gibbs & Soell, Arketi Group and Thomas Public Relations.

BOSTON—Greenough Communications has been named agency of record for EcoCAR: The NeXt Challenge. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, General Motors and more than 15 other contributors, EcoCAR is a vehicle engineering competition that challenges 17 universities across the U.S. and Canada to redesign and reengineer the 2009 Saturn VUE to minimize energy consumption and reduce emissions. Greenough will use traditional media, social media and events to create awareness of how the competition, its sponsors and its participants can influence the energy and carbon emissions agenda.


MINNEAPOLIS—Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., one of the pioneers of the craft brewing renaissance, has selected Carmichael Lynch Spong as its public relations agency of record.
