New business success for Spector & Associates, Greenough, Lou Hammond, Zeno and Adam Ritchie.

NEW YORK—Spector & Associates will public relations and public affairs services to Arlington, Va.-based Logos Technologies, a diversified defense and energy company with customers including the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

BOSTON—Greenough has been named agency of record by CoalTek, a Massachusetts-based clean energy company that uses proprietary technology to transform low-value brown coal into efficient and environmentally-friendly clean coal. Greenough will work with CoalTek to provide traditional and social media support in both the US and foreign markets, with immediate focus on CoalTek’s recently announced joint venture in the People’s Republic of China.

NEW YORK—Lou Hammond & Associates has added three clients: Great American Steamboat Co., the owner and operator of the US-flagged Steamboat American Queen, the largest paddlewheel steamboat ever built; Paradise Coast, Florida, encompassing Naples, Marco Island and the western Everglades; and the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort and Spa, host of The Players championship.

FORT WORTH, TX—Global work wear maker Williamson-Dickie has selected Zeno Group as public relations agency of record following an agency review. Zeno is responsible for strategic communications counsel, media relations, grass roots programming and special events assistance to drive brand awareness and consideration among consumers. The Dickies business will be led out of Zeno Group’s recently opened Dallas office.

BOSTON—LifeSpan, the Salt Lake City-based fitness gear manufacturer, has chosen Adam Ritchie Brand Direction as its communications agency of record. The firm will help LifeSpan launch several new products, including the Treadmill Desk, over the course of 2012. The launch programs will target online health, lifestyle and technology media, as well as media influencers. In addition, stkr.it, a New York City-based social media brand that helps people share and archive their memories, has chosen Adam Ritchie Brand Direction as its communications agency of record.
