Sherpa Pet Group has retained Fetching Communications as its agency of record, plus new business successes for Cornerstone PR, JohnstonWells, LVM Group, Maroon PR, and Amy Levy Public Relations.

TAMPA—Sherpa Pet Group has retained Fetching Communications as its agency of record. Fetching is providing public relations and social media services to raise brand awareness of its various product lines, which include Cloak & Dawggie, go Dog, Pez For Pets, Woof Wear, Dog Mountain Art, Fox & Hounds, Sherpa’s Pet Trading Company, and Guaranteed on Board. “Sherpa Pet Group selected Fetching Communications because of its expertise and knowledge of the pet industry,” said Tim Ford, CEO of Sherpa Pet Group. “That particular niche of business translates into mainstream media interest and is the most effective and economical way to create awareness for the SPG family of brands.”


NEW YORK—Cornerstone Public Relations has been tapped by Converse, Guitar Center and TDK to handle media relations. For TDK, Cornerstone will develop and execute a strategic global media campaign around its rebranding efforts. Guitar Center, the musical instrument retailer, named Cornerstone Public Relations its agency of record. And sports company Converse selected the firm to handle various multi-tiered public relations campaigns on behalf of the brand.

DENVER—JohnstonWells, a leading Denver public relations firm, has been hired by T1 Visions to conduct national media outreach related to its new social technology for restaurants. T1 Visions specializes in interactive touchscreen solutions for restaurants, and sells its hardware, software and services to restaurants nationwide and internationally.


NEW YORK CITY – LVM Group has been retained to handle the public relations for two New York City companies: Somerset Partners, a national real estate investment firm, and WXY architecture + urban design, an architectural firm.


BALTIMORE—Maroon PR has been hired by the Baltimore Ravens and M&T Bank Stadium to handle the public relations efforts surrounding the international soccer game between Inter Milan and Manchester City to be played at M&T Bank Stadium on July 31. In addition, Maroon PR is managing all social media efforts for the game and will handle game day media operations for the event.

LOS ANGELES—Amy Levy Public Relations has added two new clients to its roster: audio post-production company AnEFX and personal training center Legacy Gym.
