New business wins for Environics, MWW, Fishburn Hedges, Haberman, French/West/Vaughan, Lippin, Blue C, R&J, and Vantage.

WASHINGTON, DC—The Natural Products Association, a trade association dedicated to the natural products industry, has hired Environics Communications to provide public relations services. Environics will work with NPA to help develop and implement messaging and a media strategy to better position NPA as a resource on natural products.  The effort also will seek to raise awareness of NPA’s Natural Seal program for personal and home care products.

LOS ANGELES—MWW has been named agency of record for three new accounts to be led out of the firm’s Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. Online real estate agent platform Agent Ace, global leader in breathalyzers BACtrack; and health and fitness app Runtastic will join the agency’s growing West Coast account roster.

NEW YORK—Fishburn Hedges has been appointed to launch Guardian Sustainable Business in the United States after a competitive pitch. The win follows the agency securing a mandate from leading global advertiser Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, headquartered in New York, in addition to the existing brief held by Fishburn Hedges in London. Both pieces of work will be led by Managing Director of Fishburn Hedges New York, Jessica Morris, who rejoined the agency in January 2013. 

MINNEAPOLIS—Earthbound Farm, one of the country’s leading organic food brands, has selected Haberman as its public relations, social engagement and digital agency of record. According to Samantha Cabaluna, vice-president of communications and marketing, Earthbound Farm, “Earthbound values Haberman’s deep experience in the food category, as well as its integrated approach to marketing and ability to think holistically about brands.”

RALEIGH, NC—Nathan, a leader in hydration, visibility, and essential performance gear, has named French/West/Vaughan as its public relations agency of record. Through strategic media relations, social media marketing and grassroots efforts, FWV and Nathan will broaden awareness of the brand’s offerings and Running Essentials engineered to help competitive athletes and active consumers alike run stronger and longer.

NEW YORK—The NYTVF, an organization dedicated to identifying and nurturing top independent creative talent and fostering connections with networks, studios and brands, has formed a new, two-year agreement with The Lippin Group, extending a relationship that began in 2011. In addition to strategic media relations, The Lippin Group is providing the NYTVF with event and red carpet-related publicity for its annual festival and supporting business development and industry thought leadership activities.

COSTA MESA, CA—Blue C Advertising has been awarded the advertising, public relations and social media account for electric vehicle manufacturer Vectrix, a leading global designer and manufacturer of 100 percent electric two-and three-wheeled transportation. The firm’s work will include advertising, global public relations, social media integration, brand ambassador development and event strategy as well as a new-model launch of the Vectrix VT-1 vehicle.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ—Mobelisk, a premium provider of tablet solutions for the enterprise customer, has selected R&J Public Relations as its public relations agency of record. R&J will focus efforts on launching Mobelisk’s second generation enterprise tablet solution, the MoGo Chimera, through a traditional media relations and public relations campaign. The firm will also work to increase Mobelisk’s brand identity and awareness as well as secure coverage in key target markets. 

SAN FRANCISCO—Vantage Communications, a technology PR firm, has been named US agency of record for unified search and secure access software developer SearchYourCloud.
