SAN DIEGO—TAG, one of Southern California’s leading outsourced accounting consultancies, has selected Gable PR to direct the company’s re-branding efforts and manage its public and media relations programs. TAG, founded in 1996 as The Accounting Group, provides accounting products and services in three primary practice areas: outsourced accounting, accounting software and high net worth family accounting. The public and media relations program will be managed by Tom Gable, CEO, and Liz Dill, account executive, who formerly worked on the Microsoft Business Solutions public relations program.


NEW YORK—The Morris + King Company has been retained by Meez, a leading online social entertainment network that fuses avatars, gaming and a virtual economy to create more interactive online communities. As agency of record, MKC will develop and execute an extensive public relations campaign on behalf of Meez.


MENLO PARK, CAGreenough Communications has been selected by Virtela Communications, a top provider of global managed network and security services. Greenough will raise awareness of Virtela’s business model and its standard for providing enterprises with superior agility and global connectivity.

MINNEAPOLIS—Maccabee Group has been selected as public relations agency by AAA-Minneapolis, the auto club and traffic safety advocate that offers automotive, financial and insurance services to nearly 186,000 members in Hennepin County; and the American Swedish Institute, a Minneapolis-based house/museum that celebrates Swedish culture and traditions.
