SACRAMENTO, CA—Ogilvy Public Relations has been awarded a three-to-five-year, multi-million dollar contract to continue its work for Covered California, the state's health benefit exchange. Ogilvy PR will continue its statewide education and outreach campaigns with a focus on enrolling and retaining members in Covered California, particularly in the state's diverse communities. Program components include influencer communications, content creation and social media.

RALEIGH, NC—French/West/Vaughan has been selected by hotel development, ownership and management company Concord Hospitality Enterprises as public relations and creative services agency of record following a competitive review. FWV will collaborate with Concord’s in-house marketing team, development partners, and hotel brands including Choice Hotels, Hilton, Hyatt, InterContinental Hotels Group, Marriott and Starwood to promote new deals, openings, and events.

NEW YORK—King + Company has been retained by Fullstack Academy, an institution that offers a JavaScript-driven curriculum to prospective software developers. KCo will develop and execute a comprehensive public relations campaign on behalf of Fullstack Academy to raise awareness around its course offerings, co-founders and immersive approach to teaching software development.

BOSTON—PAN Communications has been selected by Perspecsys, a leading provider of cloud data protection solutions, to serve as its PR agency of record. The new program calls for a focused effort to enhance the company’s media and digital presence.

NEW YORK—CRC, a New York-based public relations agency specializing in fashion and beauty, has been named the agency of record for Perfect Corp., developer of mobile beauty platforms YouCam Perfect, YouCam Makeup and Beauty Circle. CRC will focus on Perfect Corp.’s visibility within the social community and beauty industry by implementing an aggressive public relations strategy, including media and consumer activation events as well as ongoing marketing initiatives.

On the consumer side, it has been selected by Kuros!, a company that supports donations of pepper spray to women in developing nations, and Blue by Blueair, a mid-market air purifier. On the business-to-business front, it has picked up Socius Ingredients, which has launched a new tamarind gum extract, and International Floriculture Expo, which tapped 3rd Coast to garner media attention and boost attendance for its tradeshow.

NEW YORK—Blue Star Jets has named Relevance New York as its public relations agency of record to help build brand awareness and communicate the distinctive features of the private jet company to consumers and media.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN—Start Fresh Recovery Program, which seeks to suppress alcohol cravings using a minimally-invasive, time-released implant, has chosen Maccabee Public Relations as its agency for media relations, social media marketing and communications. 

NEW YORK—Nancy J. Friedman Public Relations has added two new clients: Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, the brand’s oceanside resort debut in North America, and iStar, the real-estate investment company spearheading Asbury Park’s waterfront renaissance.

TAMPA, FL—JoTo PR has signed Actionable Intelligence Technologies as a new client. AIT, a Virginia tech company, has created a new tool to help police take down white collar criminals.
