New business success for Widmeyer, Maroon, Calysto, Trylon, Fish, Buffalo, and Harrison & Shriftman.

WASHINGTON, DC—Widmeyer Communications, a Finn Partners company, has been engaged by Cornell University’s Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. Widmeyer’s higher education team will provide strategic communications planning and counsel as the Johnson School’s agency of record. 

COLUMBIA, MD—Maroon PR has added five new clients: The First Tee of Baltimore, a youth development organization that introduces the game of golf to young people; House of Ruth Maryland, one of the nation’s leading intimate partner violence centers; Powerhandz, a sporting goods manufacturer; quick-service restaurant ShakeUp; and Decisive Communications, which provides a suite of services in the telecommunications industry.

ATLANTA—Calysto, a marketing communications agency focused on mobile, wireless and telecom technologies, has been selected by Syntonic Wireless, a cloud-based connected services platform developer, to build awareness with its key audiences. Calysto will provide Syntonic with a content and communications strategy built on content marketing, social media services and traditional public relations.

NEW YORK—Trylon SMR has been selected by Georgian Partners, an equity firm investing in expansion stage enterprise software, Internet and information companies, as agency of record for its USA media relations requirements.

HOLLYWOOD, FL—Fish Consulting has added three new clients. Fish will provide strategic franchisee recruitment and consumer public relations support to Polaroid Fotobar and Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles, as both brands launch into the franchise sector and expand their domestic footprint. Orangetheory Fitness has enlisted Fish to assist in the national consumer public relations of the brand and provide social media management including content creation and design.

BUFFALO—Lizzie Driver, the women’s golf-lifestyle fashion brand, has selected Buffalo Communications to turnkey a trade and consumer public relations program in the United States.

MIAMI BEACH—Harrison & Shriftman has been appointed to represent Bal Harbour Shops.
