Edelman has added two new accounts to its Seattle office, plus new business successes for G.S. Schwartz & Co., M Silver Associates, Duffy & Shanley, Zizzo Group, and WordWrite Communications.

SEATTLEEdelman has added two new accounts to its Seattle office: lynda.com, an online software training company that has chosen Edelman to partner on its communications and media relations strategy; and Spring Wireless, an enterprise mobility company based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, that provides mobile services and software applications to large enterprises and has selected Edelman for assistance with an overall communications strategy focused on strategic positioning and media relations.

Schwartz & Co. has been retained to handle public relations for three new clients: HCL, a U.K.-headquartered leader in the healthcare recruitment and workforce solutions field; New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies, which is approaching its 75th anniversary; and C. Crane Company, a direct marketer of consumer electronics and other products.

 

NEW YORK—M. Silver Associates has been chosen by the Turkish Tourism & Culture Office to conduct a multi-faceted destination marketing program targeting North American travelers. The public relations program will convey Turkey’s cultural heritage and its many historic sites.  M. Silver’s communications activities will include promotion of Istanbul as the 2010 European Capital of Culture as well as stimulating consumer interest in exploring other parts of the country such as Cappadocia and Anatolia as well as the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts. The campaign focuses on the leisure market, including sophisticated travelers and active vacationers, as well as the travel agency community, and medical tourists.

 

PROVIDENCE, RI—Duffy & Shanley has added a new client, Brahmin Leather Works, which produces leather handbags. The agency will oversee a public relations campaign aimed at expanding brand recognition among consumers and within the fashion industry. Duffy & Shanley will also be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing a new web design for Brahmin.com.

 

MILWAUKEE—Zizzo Group Advertising and Public Relations has been selected as the agency of record for Manitowoc-based Bloodhound Debt Collection Software. Roydan Enterprises, commonly known as Bloodhound Debt Collection Software, provides software that helps its customers be more effective and profitable in collections work. Bloodhound has engaged ZGA+PR for an integrated strategic marketing and branding program aimed at helping the company increase awareness and continue its sustained growth. These efforts will include market research, creative, media planning and buying, advertising, direct marketing/lead generation and qualification, website development and public relations.

 

PITTSBURGH—Redstone Highlands, a senior living community, has named WordWrite Communications as its agency of record for public relations. WordWrite will work with Redstone Highlands to showcase its leadership position in senior citizen healthcare, focusing on the living alternatives and services Redstone Highlands provides to its residents. WordWrite will leverage its non-profit healthcare experience to tell the Redstone Highlands story and engage its stakeholders.
