LOS ANGELES—The Entertainment Industries Council, which draws on the influence of the entertainment industry to communicate about health and social issues, has appointed Rogers & Cowan as agency of record. Rogers & Cowan will continue to build EIC’s profile as the preeminent educational resource to the creative community on health and social issues and serve as a strategic marketing communications partner to promote brand initiatives and events.

NEW YORK—Virginia Tourism Corporation will continue to work with Lou Hammond & Associates as its public relations agency of record after a competitive review. In addition, the firm has picked up new assignments from Paducah, Kentucky, designated as the world's seventh City of Crafts & Folk Art by the UNESCO; Clyde May’s Alabama Style Whiskey; and Fort Worth, Texas, known as the “City of Cowboys and Culture.”
