NEW YORK—Sloane & Company has been advising ice cream company Cold Stone Creamery and Kahala Corp., a leading franchiser, developer, and marketer of quick-service restaurants, on their merger and the formation of a new holding company, Kahala-Cold Stone.   The Sloane team, led by managing directors Anton Nicholas and Darren Brandt, helped develop an integrated communication campaign to announce the creation of the new holding company, which will manage 13 diversified brands with more than $1.1 billion in system-wide sales in partnership with over 3,000 franchisees and more than 4,600 retail locations in 15 countries worldwide. 

ATLANTA—Trevelino/Keller Communications Group has been named agency of record for MarketSquare, a rich media trackable message technology company that enables online broadcast communication. The campaign will seek to elevate DialAmerica’s brand positioning and solution offerings to target audiences in multiple industry sectors. “We selected CooperKatz because of its experience in creating and implementing industry leadership programs,” said Arthur Conway, president and chief executive.  The firm’s responsibilities will include supporting DialAmerica’s 50th Anniversary, as well as introducing a new corporate identity that reflects the company’s broadening capabilities.
