New clients for Bell Pottinger USA, Berkman, Carbiner Communications, High Road and Thomas Public Relations.

LONDON—Seven Seas, one of Europe’s leading health supplement manufacturers, has retained two Chime companies, Bell Pottinger USA and Bell Pottinger Business & Brand, to drive consumer awareness of the company’s two key products, a multivitamin called Multibionta and a fish oil supplement called Cod Liver Oil Plus. Bell Pottinger USA will be focusing its efforts on the Caribbean region, enhancing an already strong presence for the health products company.

SAN DIEGO—Berkman, a full-service public relations, marketing and branding firm, has expanded added nine new clients. In the consumer products and technology sector, the firm has been appointed by Raytel, a leading provider of Bluetooth hands-free mobile communications solutions for the automotive aftermarket and 42Media, a leader in digital signage solutions; in the professional services arena, the firm has added Packard Hospitality Group, a, full-service hotel management company, and the Orange County office of law firm Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps; in hospitality, Berkman has been selected by Cohn Restaurant Group and Deborah Scott, restaurateur, and Fresh[er], a restaurant in downtown La Jolla; and in the fashion and retail space, the firm will be working for Donna Marsh, an upscale women’s clothing store, and Shorelines Gallery, a contemporary American art and jewelry gallery.

ATLANTA—Carabiner Communications, a public relations firm that serves start-up and fast-growth technology companies, has been named public relations agency of record for Agent Vi, Fintura and Marshal, specialists in enterprise video analytics software, financial marketing services, and secure email and Internet management solutions respectively.

TORONTO, ON—High Road Communications is assisting the organizers of SecTor in managing Canada’s inaugural IT security education conference, being held during IT Security Week later this month in Toronto. The software, services and security division of High Road will provide public relations and event management support for the conference.

MELVILLE, NY—Thomas Public Relations has been chosen as agency of record by Visan, creator of the new Web 2.0 RocketLife WebApp, which creates photo products to share and play with online. Thomas PR is responsible for product launches, public relations, and branding.
