LOS ANGELES—5W Public Relations Los Angeles has been selected to execute strategic public relations for the historical Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation’s groundbreaking ceremony and gala in Washington, D.C. this week. The Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the creation of a Memorial in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, has tapped 5W to participate in the pre-event and on-site media relations and celebrity participation for the groundbreaking.

SAN FRANCISCO—Blanc & Otus has been named public relations agency of record by BrightSpot Media, an online advertising and media company that enables advertisers and agencies to more effectively allocate their ad spend through the “hyper-targeting” of consumers. Blanc & Otus is working with BrightSpot Media to launch the start-up company’s entry into the online advertising arena.
