NEW YORK—Ekaterinburg 2020, Russia’s bid committee for the 2020 World Expo, has appointed Weber Shandwick to support its global public relations campaign. Weber Shandwick has a track record in World Expo bid campaigning, having most recently supported the successful bids for Shanghai Expo 2010 and Milan Expo 2015. The firm was also global public relations agency of record for the Sochi 2014 successful Olympic Winter bid.

DENVER—Linhart Public Relations has been selected by Celestial Seasonings, a leading brand of natural and specialty teas, as its agency of record. Linhart PR will provide Celestial Seasonings with strategic counsel to help increase brand awareness and consumer engagement, and drive sales of the brand’s tea and kombucha products through integrated brand campaigns which will include media and blogger relations, events, and digital strategy and engagement.

PROVIDENCE, RI—Duffy & Shanley has been named the marketing communications agency of record for BrewGene, a free beer recommendation mobile application and website. Duffy & Shanley will oversee a strategic media and social media campaign designed to reinforce BrewGene’s brand identity and awareness and to create new consumer engagement. The plan will be led by Duffy & Shanley’s public relations and creative groups.

NEW YORK—Crenshaw Communications has been named as agency of record by email marketing and marketing automation provider Silverpop. Crenshaw will provide the Atlanta-based company with public relations and marketing communications services, including traditional and digital media relations, executive visibility, and key social media initiatives.

NEW YORK—St. Giles Hotel New York has selected M. Silver Associates as its agency of record. The agency’s work will include special events, brand strategy, media relations, social media activities, promotions and business partnerships.

NEW YORK—The Thomas Collective has been named the agency of record for the health and wellness company i-Health, handling media relations for its brands Culturelle, Estroven, AZO and Brainstrong.

NEW YORK—JS2 Communications has signed Triomphe and Lantern’s Keep for press representation.
