Identity theft protection company LifeLock has selected GolinHarris to lead its national consumer communications, plus new business successes for Kaplow, Rogers & Cowan, Arketi Group, Nancy J. Friedman Public Relations and Spelling Communications.

COSTA MESA, CA—Identity theft protection company LifeLock has selected GolinHarris to lead its national consumer communications, media relations and corporate reputation efforts. The account will be led out of the Orange County, Cal. office by Traci Renner, senior vice president. “We chose GolinHarris for its extensive media relations and consumer marketing experience, and because the GH team showed passion for our business,” says Mike Prusinski, senior vice president of corporate communications for LifeLock.

 

NEW YORK—Foursquare, a mobile application that aims to make cities easier to navigate and more interesting to explore, has selected Kaplow a its agency of record. Kaplow will work with Foursquare to manage the brand’s consumer outreach; drive additional awareness for the brand among media and consumers; and launch B2C and B2B education campaigns explaining how and why to use Foursquare.

 

LOS ANGELES—Rogers & Cowan has been selected as agency of record by GenAudio, developer of AstoundSound 3D sound localization cue software for motion pictures, concerts, videogame and consumer electronics applications.  The agency will implement an entertainment industry and consumer electronics industry-focused media and industry relations campaign to generate awareness for GenAudio’s audio software applications as well as exposure to potential licensees for consumer electronics device integration and decision makers in the videogame industry.

 

ATLANTA—Arketi Group, a high-tech business-to-business public relations and digital marketing firm has been chosen by SPI, a technology and outsourcing solutions provider for retailers, as agency of record to help elevate the company's corporate brand. Arketi's work began with the development of corporate positioning and a messaging platform, which serves as the foundation for SPI's marketing and awareness efforts. Arketi will also redesign the company's website and sales collateral.

 

NEW YORK—Nancy J. Friedman Public Relations has added the Duane Street Hotel to the agency’s client roster. NJFPR is now the agency of record for the Duane Street Hotel, located in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City, and will handle all aspects of PR for the hotel, including a re-launch to the North American market.

 

LOS ANGELES—CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Los Angeles has tapped public relations firm Spelling Communications to head its communications and media relations initiatives and to bring sharper focus to CASA/LA's mission of child advocacy in the Los Angeles community. CASA/LA is a non-profit organization whose volunteers serve the best interests of foster children in the courts and in the community.
