Yasheng Group has retained Makovsky + Company for the development of a strategic communications and investor relations program, plus new clients for Rogers & Cowan, Bateman Group and Duffy & Shanley.

REDWOOD CITY, CA—Yasheng Group, a high-growth diversified China-based agricultural company with its U.S. headquarters in California, has retained Makovsky + Company for the development of a strategic communications and investor relations program. NASSAU—The Bahamas International Film Festival has retained Rogers & Cowan to handle all publicity for the 7th edition of the festival, taking place in December. Rogers & Cowan has overseen all publicity efforts as agency of record for the last three Festivals and will provide strategic planning and consultation and continue to expand the Festival's profile throughout the worldwide film community, with a focus on Festival branding, media outreach and procurement, talent oversight and event management.


SAN FRANCISCO—Protegrity USA, a leader in end-to-end data security solutions, has selected the Bateman Group to serve as the company’s PR and social media agency of record. Bateman will support Protegrity’s objectives for corporate market positioning, customer acquisition and revenue generation. Programs will include day-to-day strategic communications counsel; messaging, industry analyst relations; business, trade and vertical media outreach; and social media strategy.


PROVIDENCE, RI—Duffy & Shanley has been named marketing communications agency of record for North Shore Medical Center. Duffy & Shanley will handle all of North Shore Medical Center's communications needs, including development of a new comprehensive branding campaign that will launch this fall.
