LOS ANGELES—Kikkoman, a leading producer of soy sauce and other Asian-style sauces, has called on The Rogers Group’s digital expertise to develop a blogger outreach campaign for the holidays. TRG will disseminate new and innovative holiday recipes that incorporate Kikkoman products, with a focus on reaching “mommy” and “foodie” blogs.

HACKENSACK, NJBeckerman, one of the largest independent public relations firms in New Jersey, has won nine new clients. The new clients include Agudath Israel of New Jersey, the regional affiliate of Agudath Israel of America, a broad-based Orthodox Jewish advocacy group; Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, one of the oldest property owners and developers in northern New Jersey; livethesource, a direct sales company marketing nano-encapsulated liquid vitamin, mineral and herbal supplements; Multi Distressed Asset Co., a market leader in real estate investment and financing services; New Energy Technologies, which develops a technology designed to generate “clean” electricity; Rivet Software, which is pioneering the future of global financial communications; Vcorp Services, which provides corporate services to new and current business owners; Vzillion, a new Internet world that allows members to experience the power of the Internet; and XsunX, which is developing a thin-film photovoltaic technology to mass produce solar cells.

DENVER—Linhart Public Relations has been selected as the national public relations agency for mix1Beverage Company based in Boulder, Colo. mix1 is an emerging leader in the functional beverage and performance nutrition category, and Linhart PR will be responsible for supporting the brand’s entry into key markets such as Colorado, Florida and Georgia, as well as raising visibility within the business community in Colorado and beyond.

 

NEW YORKStanton Public Relations & Marketing has been appointed by Asta Funding,  a Nasdaq-listed consumer receivable asset management company. Stanton’s ongoing strategic communications program for Asta Funding includes investor and financial communications, executive visibility, and thought leadership development. According to Asta Funding, the company selected Stanton due to the agency’s financial, investor and business communications expertise.

 

ATLANTA—Carabiner Communications, a public relations firm that serves start-up and fast-growth technology companies, has added five new clients to its roster. The firm’s new clients are Excel4apps, a provider of Excel-based reporting and budgeting software; Lightwave Security, makers of a governance, risk and compliance system; North Highland, an employee-owned management and technology consulting company; Oversight Systems, which  provides continuous transaction monitoring solutions; and Steelbox, a division of Adtech Global Solutions that develops IP media appliances.

 

CHICAGO—Zapwater Communications has been retained by online education company for marketing communications work across the organization¹s operating units, including Rasmussen College and Deltak edu. Zapwater will expand corporate communications for Rasmussen, as well as ongoing public relations support for Rasmussen College and its 17 campuses. The firm has worked with Deltak for over two years and will continue to provide media and public relations support to the Rasmussen subsidiary and its partner institutions.


NEW YORK—Footzyrolls, a line of rollable, foldable compact flats designed to be carried in the smallest of bags to provide relief from continuous wearing of high heels, has retained Loving + Company to provide brand building, media and blogger relations, product launches and sustaining programs. 

 

LOS ANGELES—RFPR has signed two new clients, KPG Solutions and Chocolate Box Café. As agency of record, RFPR will create and implement public relations campaigns to launch the brands as well as manage community marketing. KPG Solutions recently introduced a new software solutions package that RFPR will launch and promote to the trade and consumer media. Chocolate Box Café is a purveyor of artisan chocolate, espresso, Italian gelato, and special gift boxes and retained RFPR to effectively launch a new Malibu store via regional and national media outreach.
