NEW YORK—Cohn & Wolfe has been named agency of record by ride comparison and booking app Karhoo. Cohn & Wolfe will provide strategic communications counsel and media relations services to support Karhoo’s launch to New Yorkers in an increasingly competitive category. The company also plans to roll out the booking app throughout the U.S. in other high volume travel markets including Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and Las Vegas, with Cohn & Wolfe handling PR.

NEW YORK—M&C Saatchi PR has been appointed agency of record for Hippeas, a new brand of organic chickpea puffs. M&C Saatchi PR will lead and execute a robust communications program to support the launch of Hippeas in the US stateside and provide ongoing support to drive consumer awareness that leverages the brand’s proposition and voice.

NEW YORK—Resound Marketing has been selected as public relations agency of record for San Francisco-based startup GameOn Technology , a cloud-based engagement platform for sports fans, which includes Joe Montana, Snoop Dogg, and Gary Payton among its notable investors. Resound has been coordinating press opportunities for GameOn with Bloomberg, VentureBeat, and Entrepreneur, among others.
