WASHINGTON, D.C.—Levick Strategic Communications has added new business in its crisis and litigations communications and corporate practices. Among the firm’s recent assignments: Visto Corporation, a mobile e-mail technology company, for all ongoing intellectual property litigation as well as support for the company’s long-term growth plans; Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker, to promote the firm’s remarkable diversity initiatives throughout the United States; U.S. Census Bureau, with communications training for senior executives responsible for gathering the data on which the American government depends; and the American Psychological Association, for issues management support in key areas affecting its membership and the public.

BOSTON—Greenough Communications has added EnerNOC, a provider of demand response and energy management solutions for commercial, institutional, and industrial markets, to its client roster. Greenough will provide EnerNOC with strategic public relations support to drive awareness of the company and its value proposition. “EnerNOC views public relations as a key part of our effort to extend our reach in existing markets and introduce our demand response and energy management solutions to new industries and to attractive acquisition and partnering candidates,” stated Tim Healy, CEO of EnerNOC.  “After an extensive agency search, we found Greenough to be the ideal public relations partner for EnerNOC because of the agency’s ability to combine creative strategies with relentless execution to yield results.”

NEW YORK—Trylon SMR has been selected by News21 on a project basis to handle its media relations requirements. News21, launched in 2005 and part of the Carnegie Knight Initiative on the Future of Journalism Education, is an initiative led by five of America’s leading research universities (University of California at Berkeley, Columbia University, Northwestern University, Harvard University and USC) with the support of two major foundations (Carnegie Corporation and John S. and James L. GREATER BOSTON—Public relations and marketing communications firm Tier One Partners has added nine new accounts in both the business-to-consumer and business-to-business market spaces, include. Collectively, they increase Tier One’s annual billings by more than $500,000.

DALLAS—Natural Health Trends, a leading international direct selling company, has appointed Padilla Speer Beardsley as its public relations firm of record. PSB will be providing the company with corporate and marketing communications and investor relations services. The NHT account will be handled by PSB’s New York office.
