New business successes for Goodman Media, Maloney & Fox, The Bohle Company, JS2 Communications, Schwartz, MSR, Burditch, LVM and Maroon PR.

NEW YORK—Goodman Media International has added seven new clients in the media, consumer, healthcare, and arts sectors: Art21, for publicity for the fourth season premiere of the bi-annual PBS series Art:21—Art in the 21st Century; Abbott Point of Care for corporate communications and media outreach to promote its i-STAT medical diagnostic system; Discover Magazine, for media relations and publicity for the magazine’s content and special initiatives; HDNet, for publicity for the weekly news show Dan Rather Reports; McCormick Distilling Company, for promotion of its new 360 Vodka; Research Corporation, for communications advice and media outreach; and Taggies, for publicity for its line of baby products.

NEW YORK—Maloney & Fox, the integrated marketing communications subsidiary of Waggener Edstrom, has added Bob Evans Farms as a client. Bob Evans Farms, which owns and operates full-service restaurants under the Bob Evans and Mimi’s Café brands, has tapped M&F to develop and manage a grassroots marketing campaign to launch the company’s new Country Stir-Fry entrees.

LOS ANGELES—The Bohle Company has been selected to handle public relations for the first international conference for bloggers, the BlogWorld & New Media Expo in November, 2007 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The expo will not only host the online community but will provide multiple sessions to corporate public relations specialists to help them learn about managing internal and external corporate blogs.

LOS ANGELES—JS2 Communications has been named agency of record for Phat Phish, an integrated entertainment and communications company based in Mumbai, India. Phat Phish creates and distributes alternative cinema and music distinctly different than the usual Bollywood fare, including Frozen, a film currently in contention at the Toronto and London Film Festivals. In addition to promoting individual film and music releases from Phat Phish, JS² Communications will work to build the Phat Phish brand in the United States. The account will be led jointly out of the JS² Los Angeles and New York offices.

WALTHAM, MA—Schwartz Communications has won 10 new clients. Eight of the new clients—BioMS Medical Corp., EnjoyMyMedia, High Street Partners, InovaWave, PatientFlow Technology, Quantum Health, Speranza Systems and Terumo Cardiovascular Systems—will be serviced from the firm’s Waltham, Mass., headquarters. AgileWaves and Oxford BioMedica will be serviced out of Schwartz’s San Francisco office.

SAN FRANCISCO—MSR Communications has been named the PR agency of record for CPP, an industry leader in research, training, and organizational development consulting and products, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. MSR Communications will leverage its expertise targeting business, consumer, and vertical influencers to increase brand awareness and create mindshare for the company.

LOS ANGELES—Burditch Marketing Communications, best known for its work in luxury hospitality and design, has been engaged by Cindy Pawlcyn to represent her and her three culinary destinations in Napa Valley: Mustards Grill, Go Fish, and Cindy’s Backstreet Kitchen. BMC will be agency of record for public relations and marketing in the United States.

NEW YORK—LVM Group has been chosen to represent Sumitomo Real Estate Sales, a Japanese-owned New York real estate firm.

MARRIOTTSVILLE, MD—Maroon PR has been named agency of record for Linda Seidel Professional, a makeup artist whose company is located in Owings Mills, Md. Maroon PR will assist with media relations and community involvement efforts.
