NEW YORK—Trylon SMR has been selected by Air America Media as media relations agency of record. Air America Media runs a national progressive talk radio network and web business. It can be heard nationwide on 60 affiliates as well as on XM Satellite Radio and streamed on the Internet.

 

NEW YORK—Extended Stay Hotels, a leader in affordable, long-term lodging, has hired Rubenstein Public Relations to promote its five brands: Extended Stay America, Homestead Studio Suites, Studio PLUS, Extended Stay Deluxe and Crossland. RPR will focus on generating coverage of Extended Stay Hotels' digital campaign, as well as the substantial renovations at over 250 of its hotel rooms nationwide.

 

DENVER—104 West Partners, a strategic communications firm specializing in innovative technology companies, has expanded its client portfolio with the addition of three new accounts: HiveLive, Global Technology Resources and Transverse. 104 West is helping to distinguish HiveLive as a pioneer in driving business innovation through creating communities that better connect businesses with their customers; GTRI is a technology consulting provider focused on helping clients align IT investments with business strategy; and Transverse is a business solutions company providing open software and services for enterprise companies to generate new business models that leverage unique customer relationships. 

 

THOUSAND OAKS, CA—The David James Agency has added Los Angeles-based consulting firm WTC to its client list. The agency will spearhead a branding and awareness generation campaign for WTC, which provides strategic consulting to help higher education and public sector clients solve complex networking, IT, and telecommunication challenges. The agency’s first projects involved refining the firm’s positioning in the services sector and updating the WTC website.

 

SAN DIEGO—Humane Exposures Publishing, a socially-responsible publishing company dedicated to driving public awareness and education about some of the most troubled areas of American society, has selected Gable PR to manage its public and media relations programs, including the launch of the first in trilogy of books entitled Maggots in My Sweet Potatoes: Women Doing Time. Tom Gable, CEO, is team leader, assisted by Jennifer Cornelius, account manager, and Erin Kirkpatrick, account coordinator.

 

LOS ANGELES—JS2 Communications has been named agency of record for Dessert Alert, a web-based dessert company. JSCommunications will be responsible for all national and regional PR initiatives for the brand, including holiday gift guide, bridal outreach and community events, as well as gift bags and awards show opportunities. The account will be led out of the Los Angeles office.

 

IRVINE, CAeLuminatePR has added two new clients: luxury grill manufacturer Lynx Professional Grills and technology start-up trueAnthem.
