NEW YORK—DKC Public Relations, Marketing & Government Affairs is handling strategic communications for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's 50th anniversary tour. The tour includes a traveling exhibition, Gridiron Glory: The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and will begin in Pittsburgh on October 6.

NEW YORK—Cohn & Wolfe has been named agency of record for online travel company Hipmunk. The agency is charged with helping the company gain brand awareness and to drive trial of the product.

NEW YORK—Affinia Manhattan, part of the Denihan Hospitality Group, has selected Finn Partners as agency of record. Finn Partners was retained to assist the hotel as it unveils a $24 million redesign that makes it a stylish and sophisticated retreat while emphasizing the energy of the city. The strategy involves aggressive media relations initiatives, consumer promotions and events, trade activities and rebranding the hotel.

NEW YORK—Spector & Associates has been selected as the public relations agency of record for eCaring, a web-based home care management and monitoring company. According to Robert Herzog, CEO and founder of eCaring: “Spector’s experience in the health and elder care markets will give us the strategic edge we need to continue our growth.” Spector’s efforts will be focused on creating awareness for the eCaring technology throughout the professional healthcare community as well as the general public.

NEW YORK—Child’s Play Communications has added the Chicago-based American Specialty Toy Retailing Association to its client roster. Child’s Play will be responsible for social media relations surrounding the association’s rebranded consumer website and promotion of its third annual Neighborhood Toy Store Day event.

NEW YORK—Cognito, a full-service public relations and marketing agency specializing in financial services, is partnering with the Museum of American Finance, a New York-based affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution and the nation’s only public museum dedicated to finance, entrepreneurship and the open market system. The Wall Street-based museum selected Cognito to raise its profile among key constituents and manage its media relations.

Friedman Public Relations has been named agency of record for Dartmouth College’s The Hanover Inn; luxury Miami hotel, The Ritz-Carlton South Beach; restaurateur Jonathan Morr’s new restaurant, which will be housed below the Dream Downtown hotel in Manhattan’s West Chelsea neighborhood.
