MIAMI—rbb Public Relations has been chosen to lead public relations activities for Lady of America Franchise Corporation and Yedra, Polaris World. rbb will provide strategic council and coordinate each company’s national media efforts. Lady of America Franchise Corporation chose rbb to enhance awareness of its 600-plus branded fitness centers around the country among consumers and potential franchisees. And the firm will launch Polaris World’s new outdoor furniture line, Yedra, and promote the company’s first U.S. store that opens this fall in Miami.

NEW YORK—McEntyre Public Relations has been tapped by the Australian Trade Commission, the
government’s international trade promotion agency, to launch the “Discover the Beauty of Australia” trade initiative. The initiative was created to introduce American retailers and beauty journalists to Australia’s beauty industry.

CARMEL, NY—Winuk Communications has been selected to handle national PR assignments for Robert K. Futterman & Associates, Steve & Barry’s University Sportswear and Alacra. Winuk will execute national media relations for RKF, a leading independent retail real estate firm. For retailer Steve & Barry’s, the agency is executing national media relations for the launch of bubbagolf, a line of high performance golf apparel. Alacra, which creates online technology and services to help companies find, package and present business and financial information, selected Winuk to provide national media relations support and marketing counsel.

DALLAS—BlueCurrent Public Relations has been selected to provide public relations support to Green Mountain Energy Company, a leading provider of cleaner energy and carbon offset solutions, to promote the company’s 10th anniversary. BlueCurrent—a subsidiary of Fleishman-Hillard—will implement a program to increase awareness of Green Mountain among consumers, positioning the company as an industry leader and communicating the value of using renewable electricity.

SAN FRANCISCO—KickApps Corporation has selected The Bateman Group as public relations agency of record, effective immediately. Bateman’s ongoing responsibilities include day-to-day strategic communications counsel; corporate positioning and message development; writing services; business, trade and vertical market media relations; blogger relations; speaker placement; awards pursuits as well as grassroots programs targeting the web developer. The Bateman team will be split between the East and West Coasts, with the firm’s managing directors Tyler Lewis Perry and Bill Bourdon co-leading the account from New York City and San Francisco, respectively.

KNOXVILLE, TN—Ackermann PR has recently been retained by pet containment company Invisible Fence as its national agency of record. Ackermann will develop and implement an integrated public and media relations program on behalf of Invisible Fence.

NEW YORK—TrylonSMR has been selected by Kiplinger.com as agency of record to handle public relations for all its media relations requirements.
