SAN FRANCISCO, April 22—Adobe Systems, the second largest PC software company in the U.S., has consolidated its public relations business with technology public relations specialist A&R Partners. A&R had previously handled product public relations for Adobe, and now adds the corporate business, which was awarded to The Weber Group about 12 months ago.

Fleishman-Hillard and Text 100 are believed to have been finalists for the business, following a review conducted by the Mercer Island Consulting Group.

“Our job will be to try to build more of a corporate brand,” says A&R chief executive Bob Angus. “This is a company that has reinvented itself three times in its 20 year history. For 10 years it was best known for printing products. Today, it’s best known for applications. And now, it’s beginning to move into the enterprise space.”
