ABS Nautical Systems has named Hill & Knowlton its official agency of record for communications, plus new business at Weber Shandwick, Greentarget, Merritt Group, Laidlaw Group, and Fish Consulting.

HOUSTON—ABS Nautical Systems has named Hill & Knowlton its official agency of record for communications.  The account will be led out of the Houston office where the company is based. ABS Nautical Systems is a fast-growing provider of integrated fleet management software for the maritime industry.


MINNEAPOLIS—The Minneapolis-St. Paul office of Weber Shandwick has selected Partners for Violence Prevention, an organization dedicated to promoting peace, reducing the incidence and impact of violence and building the capacity for violence prevention in the community, as its pro bono client for 2010. In the past year, PVP has directly served more than 9,000 people through a variety of programs in the areas of youth development and school support, educational training, community education and awareness, and facilitation/coordination.

FT. LAUDERDALEFish Consulting has added new clients Jiffy Lube International, Checkers Drive-In Restaurants and Maid Brigade to its franchising portfolio. Fish also works with franchising industry clients including Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin-Robbins, Edible Arrangements and Sylvan Learning.
