A new president for Capstrat; a new fashion PR exec at Pierce Mattie; CCG adds several new execs; and Carmichael Lynch Spong promotes creatives.

RALEIGH, NCKaren Albritton has been named president of Capstrat, the Raleigh, N.C.-based public affairs and communications firm. Albritton was formerly executive vice president for the agency. Ken Eudy remains CEO. In her new role, Albritton will oversee client teams and continue to lead business development activities.

 

NEW YORK—Pierce Mattie PR has appointed Sonya Hartland as executive vice president of its expanding fashion PR division. Hartland will be based in Pierce Mattie's Times Square location. She joins with more than 16 years of experience, most recently at Spiegel Brands, parent company of Spiegel Catalog, Newport News and Shape FX. Previously, she handled PR at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

 

LOS ANGELES—CCG Investor Relations has added Chuck Holroyd as a senior account manager after serving as executive vice president of marketing for IndyMac Bank. Also joining the agency’s financial writing team are Sally Panicker, Farrah Dean and Lee Ann Torrans, all based in CCG’s New York office. The firm’s market intelligence team gets a boost with the addition of Michael Buchanan and the media relations team is strengthened by Javier David.

 

MINNEAPOLISCarmichael Lynch Spong has promoted two employees of its Minneapolis-based creative resources team. Robert Powers has been promoted from design director to creative director and Craig Nordeen has been promoted from designer to senior designer.
