WASHINGTON, DC—Direct Impact, the grassroots campaign subsidiary of Burson-Marsteller, has named Connie Partoyan as chief executive officer. She most recently served as president of DI and before that was executive vice president. Earlier in her career, Partoyan held numerous positions on Capitol Hill including chief of staff for Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), administrative assistant and press secretary for Congressman Rick White (R-WA) and deputy press secretary to Senator Slade Gorton (R-WA).

NEW YORK—Barbara Pinto will join FleishmanHillard's New York office to help lead the firm's new suite of media training services, focused on helping executives develop storytelling styles for news, influencer and social media driven interviews. Pinto is a former network news correspondent and anchor with ABC, PBS, and CNBC. Gus Okwu has also joined as an SVP and partner, financial communications. Prior to joining FleishmanHillard he was a senior counselor at Allison & Partners and before that was senior vice president and director of equity research at Wachovia Securities.

BOSTON—Racepoint Global has named Tom Parnell as vice president in its Boston office and Jesica Church as vice president in San Francisco. Before joining the Racepoint team, Parnell was a vice president at Weber Shandwick in Boston while Church co-led MWW's San Francisco office and previously held leadership roles at Allison + Partners and New Holland Media.

BLUE BELL, PA—Kimball Communications has added Eileen Coyne as public relations manager, focused on the insurance and association industries. Coyne most recently served as an account manager at Imre, a PR and marketing agency in Baltimore, Md., where she oversaw the agency’s largest insurance account.
