Lippe Taylor adds healthcare and interactive executives, plus new people in new positions at GolinHarris, CRT/tanaka, Abelson Group, and Westbound Communications.

NEW YORK—Lippe Taylor Brand Communications has added two staff members to lead the agency’s healthcare and interactive media divisions. Christina Corso, senior vice president of healthcare will join the Lippe Taylor team from Cohn & Wolfe. James Gregson was hired as the company’s new interactive media manager, after serving as account supervisor, digital practice, at Hill & Knowlton. 


CHICAGOGolinHarris has promoted Susan Wolfe to senior vice president in its consumer brands practice. Based in Chicago, Wolfe will continue her leadership role on the Florida Department of Citrus account, in addition to supporting several other key consumer brands clients.  Prior to joining GolinHarris, Wolfe managed public relations activities for the U.S. Foods division of PepsiCo Beverages & Foods, where she developed and directed communications objectives, strategies and tactics for targeted consumer education and marketing programs for an array of major household brands.


RICHMONDCRT/tanaka has promoted Michael Whitlow to executive vice president in the firm’s Richmond headquarters. Whitlow is head of the agency’s corporate practice, providing counsel on investor relations, corporate change and culture, external affairs and business strategy. Other promotions include Kelly Bucher, from CRT/tanaka’s Norfolk office, and Kate Stern from the Richmond office to senior account executive; and Lindsay Grant, Catherine Gryp, Erin Schaal, and Kendyl Wright to account executive.


NEW YORK—Technology and telecommunications public relations specialist Abelson Group has hired media and industry analyst relations professional Ilona Mohacsi as a director and consumer media relations expert Michelle Jerrier as an account executive. Prior to joining the agency, Mohacsi worked with key industry analyst influencers in the mobile and RFID communities for Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility Business, formerly Symbol Technologies. Earlier, she developed strategic communications campaigns at Computer Associates, now CA.


SAN BERNARDINO, CA—Carrie Gilbreth has been named senior vice president and general manager of the Inland Empire office for Westbound Communications. The San Bernardino office will service public affairs and consumer clients including San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), Caltrans, the South Coast Air Quality Management District, and DeVry University. Gilbreth joined Westbound in 2004 as the firm’s director of public relations and rose to the position of senior vice-president and part owner in the firm. Prior to Westbound, Gilbreth was consumer practice leader and West Coast media director for Magnet Communications.
