Cohn & Wolfe has appointed Adam Handelsman as executive vice president and national director of strategic media relations, plus new people in new roles at Carmichael Lynch Spong, 360 Public Relations and Robin Leedy & Associates.

NEW YORK--Cohn & Wolfe has appointed Adam Handelsman as executive vice president and national director of strategic media relations. In the role, Handelsman will help build the agency's strategic media relations offering, provide senior counsel to U.S. clients, lead media relations for all staff and maintain key media relationships.

Handelsman joins Cohn & Wolfe from 5W Public Relations where he was executive vice president and partner.

 

MINNEAPOLIS—Stephanie Herzfeld has been promoted to senior media relations specialist in Carmichael Lynch Spong’s New York office. Herzfeld joined the firm as a media relations specialist in 2007. In her new position, Herzfeld interacts with editors on behalf of all clients and oversees media relations team efforts for projects and events. Prior to joining Carmichael Lynch Spong, she served as an editor for Building Products Magazine (a Hanley Wood title) and Kitchen and Bath Business Magazine (a Nielsen Business Media publication).

 

BOSTON—360 Public Relations has promoted Courtney Curzi to vice president. Curzi, who joined 360PR in 2006, currently leads the agency’s home goods practice, including such clients as Jarden Home Brands. She also has expertise in and responsibility for sporting goods and toy industry clients. In addition, Caroline Pierce and Michael Rush have been promoted to account supervisor and Elicia Basoli has been promoted to account supervisor and digital media manager.

 

MT. KISCO, NY—Robin Leedy & Associates, a health, beauty and lifestyle PR firm, has hired Christian Brucculeri as director of social media for Chatter RL&A, the company’s digital and social media division. Previously a senior account director for YouCast Corporation, Brucculeri played a central role in transforming the YouCast product from a marketing vehicle for bands and Web products into a platform for major consumer brands to enter and participate in the online conversation. She also developed and activated successful social media/digital campaigns for Pepsi, Pandora Radio, KFC, Triaminic, Sony, Warner Bros. Entertainment and others.
