CHICAGO—Social@Ogilvy has added Lori Dicker as executive vice president/group director and Liz Taylor as senior vice president/executive creative director. Most recently, Decker worked at Moxie/ZenithOptimedia in Los Angeles where she was the SVP of digital media innovation focused on entertainment and consumer goods. Taylor has recently worked with agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather, R/GA and Razorfish to develop and execute strategic digital programming for national and global consumer brands.
TORONTO—Weber Shandwick has promoted Adam Wall to general manager of the agency’s Toronto office. In his expanded role, Wall will be responsible for all operations of the Toronto office and will formalize his leadership of Weber Shandwick Canada’s national client leader group. Wall also will continue to lead the national brand engagement practice. Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Wall worked at PraxisPR.
MIAMI—Schwartz Media Strategies has added Yanet Obarrio Sanchez (pictured) as a vice president and Julia Bennett as an account executive. Obarrio Sanchez leads public relations and marketing campaigns for the firm’s real estate, hospitality and consumer clients. Prior to joining Schwartz Media Strategies, she spearheaded all public relations and social media efforts for United Way of Miami-Dade and previously served as a primary media contact and spokesperson for Florida Power & Light.
LEXINGTON, KY—Guthrie/Mayes Public Relations, one of the largest independent public relations firms in Kentucky and the Southeast, has appointed N. Gregory Pettit as managing director of its Lexington office. Pettit has been an independent communications counselor in both Lexington and New York City and has held senior executive positions at global communications firms including Hill & Knowlton, Weber Shandwick and Edelman.
HOLLYWOOD, FL—Fish Consulting, a full-service national communications firm specializing in franchise marketing and public relations, has promoted longtime team member Jenna Kantrowitz to senior account director, Amanda Rich to account director, Carmen Ordonez to senior account manager and Elayne Sommers to account manager. Additionally, Fish hired Ashley Rodriguez and Amanda DelPrete as account managers. Kantrowitz joined Fish five years ago and in her new role will continue to lead her account teams while playing a role in managing day-to-day activities at the agency.
ST. PAUL, MN—Brian Israel has joined Beehive PR as account director, and Tiffany Jackson has joined as account coordinator. Israel has more than 16 years of experience in brand and project management, as well as design, digital and print communications and will serve as the day-to-day strategic account lead for clients including Deluxe Corporation and 3M Infection Prevention.
