NEW YORK—MWWPR has promoted Carreen Winters to chairman of reputation and chief strategy officer. In her new role, Winters will develop integrated communications programs across all disciplines and stakeholders to help clients meet business objectives. In addition, she will lead and expand MWWPR's thought leadership on reputation management, as well as the development of new products and service offerings. She joined MWWPR as an entry level professional in 1991.

WASHINGTON, DC—Public affairs firm Mercury has added Bryan Lanza, communications director for President Donald J. Trump's transition team and former deputy communications director for the Trump-Pence campaign, as a managing director in its Washington, DC, office. Prior to his time with the Trump-Pence campaign, Lanza was the communications director for Citizens United, where he worked on strategy and messaging, as well as managing the organization's media relations.

NASHVILLE—MP&F Public Relations has named Mary Elizabeth Davis, former managing editor of Southern Living magazine, as its first creative services director. At Southern Living, Davis was responsible for directing brand operations and overseeing the production of editorial content. In her new role, she will manage MP&F’s six-person creative services department, which is responsible for clients’ graphic and digital design needs such as marketing materials, advertising, websites and videos.

WASHINGTON, DC—JPA Health Communications has hired Adam Pawluk as a senior vice president. Prior to joining JPA, Pawluk served as executive director of healthcare and creative for Golin in New York. He has also held roles at Ogilvy Public Relations and Ketchum.

LOS ANGELES—MPRM Communications, an entertainment communications agency, has promoted Rene Ridinger to senior vice president and Leif Helland to vice president. Ridinger will take on a cross practice leadership role in addition to serving as head of the film practice while Helland will continue to focus on the company’s home entertainment practice and assume responsibility for internal company efficiencies. In addition, Courtney Dolliver, Nick Jones and Shelby Kimlick have all been promoted to director and Natalie Yallouz returns to MPRM from Soundfreaq in a director role.
