GolinHarris has appointed Susan Brophy as senior vice president, media relations, plus new people in new roles at Carmichael Lynch Spong, Porter Novelli, Rogers Group, and Warner Communications.

CHICAGO—GolinHarris has appointed Susan Brophy as senior vice president, media relations. Based in Chicago, Brophy will report to Gary Rudnick, managing director of the agency’s Chicago headquarters office and its central region and will serve as the agency’s national media director. Prior to joining GolinHarris, Brophy worked at Ketchum in Chicago where she focused specifically on media relations strategy and execution for corporate, consumer and healthcare clients. She also spent several years in Ketchum’s New York headquarters office as part of Ketchum’s media practice.


MINNEAPOLIS—Leslie Jones has been promoted to senior counselor in Carmichael Lynch Spong’s San Francisco office. Jones joined the firm's Minneapolis headquarters in 2005 as a senior associate, and relocated to the San Francisco office in October of 2006. In her new position, Jones serves as the day-to-day contact on Trane, one of the agency’s largest clients, and provides support on TransFair USA. In addition, Jones co-chairs the firm’s corporate social responsibility practice group. Prior to joining the firm, she was a consultant for Accenture focusing on customer relationship management for clients Marriott Hotels International, Ford Motor Company and Best Buy.


NEW YORK—Anthony Viceroy has been named president of global business operations and chief financial officer at public relations firm Porter Novelli. Viceroy joins the agency from Omnicom’s Diversified Agency Services group, where he served most recently as senior vice president of financial management and client partnership. In his DAS role, Viceroy also served as a liaison and adviser to Porter Novelli. At Porter Novelli, Viceroy will report directly to Gary Stockman, the agency’s CEO.


LOS ANGELES—The Rogers Group has added Carol Soudah and Keith Creighton to its management team. Soudah joins TRG as an account supervisor on First 5 California, the State’s early childhood development program. She comes to the agency from CarryOn Communication. Creighton joins the firm as a management supervisor with the consumer team, where he is working on campaigns for Bosch and Thermador home appliances, Whole Foods Market and iGo power chargers. He previously worked with Chicago publicist Pat Brickhouse, Edelman and Cramer-Krasselt.


MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA, MA—Warner Communications has promited Erin Vadala to the position of vice president. Prior to joining Warner, Vadala served as public relations manager, North/Latin America, for Aspen Technology, a leading supplier of enterprise software to the process industries.
