SAN FRANCISCO—Steve Mnich has joined MWW as director in the firm’s San Francisco office. LOS ANGELES—Blaze has added Apryl DeLancey as director of marketing and social media. DeLancey oversees all online media efforts for the agency, spearheading new efforts across the web on social and static platforms. Previously, DeLancey worked as a senior social media business strategist for TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles, implementing social media measurement strategies for clients such as Nissan and Infiniti. ?

NEW YORK—Makovsky Health has promoted Tom Jones to senior vice president and added Jennifer Lawson as account supervisor and Lindsey Mathias as account coordinator. Since Jones joined the firm in January 2011, the practice has seen 24 percent growth. Jones has nearly 20 years of healthcare experience. Prior to joining Makovsky, he was an industry consultant and executive director of communications for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation.

WASHINGTON, DC—Environics Communications has added Shakirah Holley and Merrick Kranz as digital media specialists. Holley joins Environics from Equal Justice Works, a nonprofit helping law students and lawyers provide effective representation for underserved communities and causes. Kranz comes to Environics from the Department of Legislative & Political Affairs at the Transport Workers Union in Washington, DC. 

NEW YORK—Liane Ramirez Swierk, formerly vice president, becomes senior vice president at Goodman Media International. A 10-year veteran of the firm, Ramirez Swierk oversees many of the firm’s entertainment and media accounts. In addition, Sabrina Strauss, previously senior account director, has been named vice president, and Meghan Newton, previously account manager, has been promoted to account director.

TORONTO—MSL Canada has promoted Nadia Beale to senior VP and consumer practice leader. Beale has been with MSL Canada for over five years, and has recently served as SVP, style & beauty. HUNTINGTON, NY--Epoch 5 Public Relations has announced the promotions of Lloyd Singer to SVP of accounts, and Andy Kraus to SVP of strategy. Singer is charged with supervision of accounts, including the role of senior editor and the oversight of all design and graphics projects. He provides guidance on client relations and services, and also manages the print and online marketing efforts for Epoch 5. Kraus brings over 25 years experience in public relations to his role as strategist at Epoch 5. At Epoch 5 since 1991, he has overseen campaigns for a broad range of industries, including healthcare, technology, and energy.
