MINNEAPOLIS—Ben Gardeen has been named senior associate at public relations firm Carmichael Lynch Spong, based out of its Minneapolis office. His role includes managing the Maytag Repairman campaign while assisting and managing the Maytag brand. Gardeen comes to Carmichael Lynch Spong from Porter Novelli in Chicago, where he was an account executive in consumer, health care and sports marketing practices.

BALTIMORE—Warschawski has added Mick Ferraro to its senior leadership team as director of strategic initiatives, responsible for new business development, as well as account servicing for the agency’s clients. Prior to joining Warschawski, Ferraro was the vice president of business development for eNR Services, a public relations technology firm headquartered in Norwalk, Conn., where he was responsible for sourcing and securing new business while managing activities of the firm’s top clients.

MARRIOTTSVILLE, MD—Maroon PR has promoted Tim Richardson to vice president. In the short term, Richardson’s role will still involve managing a number of the firm’s accounts, including the Babe Ruth Museum and World Series of Poker. However, he will take on increased responsibilities for business development efforts and will work more closely with the firm’s president on internal company management issues.
